Children learn through play!
Since children learn through play, we plan time within our curriculum for indoor and outdoor activities to encourage this activity.
Through play, children reenact experiences, use their imagination to try out different roles, express ideas, develop vocabulary, process information, widen their worldview, and relate to each other.
Children also learn by doing! We provide first-hand experience as a basis for expanding knowledge about our physical world.
At TLC we believe that adults need to facilitate learning by discussing with the children what they see, hear smell, taste, touch and feel, helping them to increase their understanding.
Our teachers do this daily by directing group discussions and introducing concepts and learning experiences. Understanding that children learn from what adults do, we model the behavior we want to encourage.
We strive to show understanding and respect for each person and use words to express needs and feelings.
We encourage everyone to learn from mistakes instead of labeling them as failures.
Growth and development happen best in a supportive, safe, and orderly environment where rules, limits, expectations, and plans are known.

Infants
At TLC we want your infant to thrive in a nurturing, loving environment, giving them a solid foundation to learning.
Cuddling and holding very young children is a big part of what we do every day. Our Bright Baby program actively engages and stimulates infants through social interactions talking, playing, moving, singing, reading, and signing.
Our goal is to incorporate love into your infant's learning experience. We know young children learn best through responsive, warm, and caring relationships.
Secure, comforting situations take place under the watchful eye of qualified caregivers who help teach babies the necessary skills for development and growth.
INFANT CLASS INCLUDES
Our infant daycare rooms have well-designed areas where your infant can develop large motor skills such as sitting, crawling, pulling up, and eventually walking. As your baby begins experiencing life's little joys, our staff is always right there providing praise and encouragement.
Everyday activities such as diapering, feeding, and gentle rocking provide the staff members with opportunities to bond with your infant. This includes a time to interact, talk, sing, and hold them.

TODDLERS
At this precious age, toddlers' little minds are a sponge for learning opportunities!
Toddlers are busy little people who love to climb, explore, build, and create. They are developing many new skills in their quest for independence by walking, talking, and discovering who they are and what they can do. It's a time of fascinating discoveries for our toddlers, a time to adjust to their environment as well as learn about themselves and others.
Toddlers are learning to master their bodies by walking, running, stooping, climbing, throwing, and jumping.
Our facilities allow your toddler to develop all these skills in a safe and well equipped environment, all under the encouraging supervision of our well trained, nurturing, and degreed teachers.
TODDLER CLASS INCLUDES
Our nurturing environment and curriculum encourage young toddlers to explore the world around them, and will help them build vocabulary, small and large motor skills, creative expression, socialization, and much more.

PRESCHOOLERS
Two and three-year-olds are active and curious. They are eager to express their opinions and feelings and are learning how to engage with their peers and adults.
A portion of the early preschool experience at TLC is grasping the concept of sharing, self praise, and getting to know and get along with peers. At this age they begin to participate in group activities for longer periods such as singing songs during music, playing games, storytelling, and creative arts.
The curriculum we implement is recognized for its educational excellence, which makes the transition from early preschool to pre-kindergarten a smooth and enjoyable one. With the language development visuals, children develop their language and listening skills
PRESCHOOL CLASS INCLUDES
As they learn about and discuss people and the world around them. The transition from two-year-old to three-year old classrooms comes with early writing skills and clear objectives.
Children learn letter formation and practice hand- eye coordination as they trace or glue items to letters.

PRE KINDERGARTEN
For pre-kindergartens, preschool is an exciting place filled with many opportunities to learn and explore every day. TLC is a place where your child can do just this. Although it's a place full of continued fun and excitement, we don't lose our focus as a school that teaches and promotes your child's education. Our degreed teachers and staff provide the type of warm attention and encouragement that prepares young children for future success in the classroom.
At the age of four, our children are exposed to a more advanced curriculum, challenging their increasing ability to learn. With educational games, the children develop a sense of learning that's fun and inspiring toward future academic success. Daily pre-kindergarten curriculum classes are filled with child-friendly activities including group songs, games, physical activities, academic studies, language development, creative arts, storytelling, and science activities igniting a love of learning to continue throughout their academic career.
PRE KINDERGARTEN CLASS INCLUDES
Our curriculum is classified as a four-year-old kindergarten and builds a strong foundation for school readiness. Throughout the school year, each child goes through periodic evaluations, which are an important part of our assessments.
Children begin to read words and understand simple math sentences including addition and subtraction. Children continue to develop listening skills and motor coordination through activities such as following instructions, coloring, cutting, directed drawing, and child-inspired art.
Children start to create well-defined goals for themselves and feel a sense of accomplishment when they meet them.

SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN
Our Afterschool programs offer school-aged children a fun, safe environment to spend their afternoons until parents get off work.
Students in the afterschool program receive a healthy snack and work on homework in a quiet environment before engaging in various indoor and outdoor games, computer activities, arts, and crafts and science projects.
SCHOOL AGE CLASS INCLUDES
- Our teachers will offer assistance with homework when your child needs it and even help kids study for spelling test.
-Our fleet of buses transport children from their elementary school store after school programs and on various field trips during summer spring and winter break.

CAMP TLC
Summer time is meant for fun!
Summer camp is meant for FUN! Our summer camp combines fun activities and fantastic field trips to the best spots around the DFW Metroplex all while sprinkling in educational experiences to make your child’s June and July a fun and exciting time for them.
Under the supervision of our highly acclaimed caregivers and educators, your children will make friends and memories that last a lifetime!
